Bursary Requirements
A bursary is granted primarily on the basis of established unmet need to students who are performing satisfactorily in an academic program as a full-time student.
- "Need" is the difference between the cost (expenses directly related to education) to attend Acadia for an academic year and the resources you can contribute toward those costs.
- Your "resources" include your parents’ contribution, your income (and your spouse's, if married), outside or private scholarships, student loans, and your other sources of financial support.
To apply, Canadian and American students must be receiving government financial assistance such as a Canada/Provincial Student Loan or subsidized US Direct Loan. International students (non-US) need only complete the bursary application.
The University reserves the right to cancel or to curtail any financial benefits in the event of a low standard of academic work or of objectionable conduct.
Please note: Acadia Divinity College students are ineligible for funding through these programs and should contact ADC directly with funding inquiries.
