The Cars We Drive: Emissions and Efficiency

February 18, 2016 (12:00 pm - 1:00 pm)

Location: Seminary House, Room 242

In this week's Acadia Lifelong Learning Brown Bag Lunch, Ed Sulis returns for an energy-themed discussion of the way we drive, the cars we should drive, and how our cars pollute. He’ll discuss the best and worst of gasoline engines, diesel, and increasingly practical electric vehicles. Can new technologies like all-electric vehicles help us meet targets suggested by the Paris Climate conference? What are the best options for us, and the best options for the planet?

Faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend. For more information, please visit the Brown Bag Lunch series homepage.
