Loving Virtual Language Learning at Acadia

You may have an image in your mind of what online learning is like.  This may involve just learning from a webpage with a series of links on it with no instructor interaction.  Virtual EAP at Acadia is different.

At Acadia, Virtual EAP allows students and instructors to have face-to-face sessions online, providing opportunities for further instruction, feedback and greater overall learning.

 

 

In your Virtual EAP classes with your instructor, you will participate in engaging lessons, have group discussions with other students and receive individualized feedback on your work and assignments.  

 

 

 

This virtual EAP instruction is followed by independent work completed at a time that is convenient for you, the student.

 

 

The Virtual-EAP Program is designed for people who:

• Have conditional acceptance into a degree program at Acadia University
• Or just want to improve their academic reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.
• And wish to begin their studies from their home country.
