Linguistics for Teachers
This course introduces students to the fundamentals of linguistics: the sound system (phonetics and phonology), word system (morphology), syntax, grammar, discourse analysis, and sociolinguistics. Although it may be taken by all interested students, it is primarily designed to be taken with EDUC 4673 and EDUC 4863 of the Acadia TESOL Certificate program for those who wish to teach English as a second or foreign language. This course is cross listed with EDUC 5193.
