Sociology of Death and Dying
A comparative investigation of the social construction of death and dying practises across different cultures. Special attention will be given to the notion of death as a socially accomplished phenomenon.

Prerequisites: 12h SOCI completed including 1003 or 1106 or 6h from 1013/1023/1033/1113. SOCI 3363 is open to those registered in the Health Sciences Option without the usual prerequisites.
