    Co-operative Education

Acadia University students have enjoyed the benefits of co-operative education since 1982. Co-op enables students to gain hands-on, paid experience at a job related to their field of study. Co-operative education students are among Acadia's best, and it is therefore an excellent opportunity for employers to evaluate them as potential full-time employees. When a student brings new ideas and concepts learned during their work terms back to the classroom, Acadia's learning environment is enhanced.

    Technology Services

Technology Services delivers technology, telephone services and support to a broad range of clients at Acadia University. From data networking through educational support services, academic and administrative computing, Technology Services endeavors to provide the best possible support of Acadia University mission. Also, for students looking to purchase a laptop computer, you can find the special deals that are available only through Acadia University.

    Student Resource Centre

Getting through university poses many difficult challenges. Many students experience stress due to the adjustments required by their studies and the multiple roles in their lives. Common issues students identify are feeling worried, anxious or depressed, having relationship problems or underachievement in their studies. Counselling is available for supportive or problem-solving assistance for academic, vocational, emotional, personal or social concerns. Counsellors help explore these issues and assist students to work toward achieving the goals they have set for themselves. The Centre provides the opportunity to discuss, in a private and relaxed atmosphere, any personal, career, or academic concern.

The office of Scholarships & Financial Assistance helps you procure the fund that you'll need to make those payments.
