With education costs on the rise, enhancing student assistance is a top priority for Acadia. Each year, we award more than $4 million to students in the form of scholarships, scholar-bursaries, bursaries, awards, and prizes. By maintaining a strong scholarship and financial assistance program, we are able to attract, retain and support our students.
As a donor to scholarships and financial assistance, you can direct your gift toward: general award funds or awards for specific departments, faculties, research, or athletic teams; any existing named awards; or you can create a personal legacy by establishing a named award yourself. Scholarship | Eligibility: Entering first year, New Brunswick
The York Adam King Scholarship of $320 is made possible by a fund of $4000 provided by the Reverend and Mrs. York A. King of Arlington, Massachusetts, in memory of their parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. W. Sears King of Steeves Settlement, Westmorland County, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Davis of Richibucto, Kent County, New Brunswick. The income is to be awarded annually as an entrance scholarship to the student(s) having the highest standing from the districts now served by the North River and Havelock groups of Baptist churches in Westmorland and Kings Counties, New Brunswick. Students who have graduated from Salisbury and Petitcodiac Regional High Schools are eligible. Interested persons should contact the Director of Admissions and Student Assistance.
