Cluster Hire (Open Disciplinary Areas)

As part of Acadia's strategic priority to advance EDI, in recognition of the systemic underrepresentation of Indigenous and Black faculty at Acadia, and in collaboration with the Acadia University Faculty Association(AUFA), we are conducting two open searches for three Mi'kmaw or Indigenous scholars and three African Nova Scotian / Canadian scholars.

African Nova Scotia / Canadian Scholars Cluster Hire (Posted January 6)

Recruitment for these positions is open and will continue until all positions have been filled. Review of applications will start on the date indicated in the specific ad. Positions are available in any academic area within Acadia's three faculties and at any academic rank.

These positions are in addition to any positions that are department specific including any equity based focused searches.

For more information, please consult the Cluster Hire MOA between Acadia University and AUFA as part of the 16th Collective Agreement.
