Acadia University - Book an event at the WIC

The Wong International Centre (WIC) is an inclusive environment where diverse cultures are fully respected. The WIC facilities (kitchen and dining area, living room, chill room, meeting/board room, and study room) are available for use by members of the Acadia University community. To book the space[s], visit the WIC and use the in-room booking sheet. You may book multiple WIC spaces at once, please fill out each booking sheet accordingly. Digital booking coming soon.

1. No alcohol or smoking is allowed on the premises.
2. No animals are allowed in the facility except service dogs.
3. For a club or group (more than 3 persons) to use the Centre, please use the in room booking sheets.
4. The centre is open from 8:30am - 9:00pm 7 days a week.
   • Please ensure that all events finish prior to closing.
   • If the space is unexpectedly locked or to confirm holiday hours, please contact Safety & Security.
5. We only provide the use of the facility. You are responsible for obtaining the necessary supplies pertaining to your event.
6. The kitchen and all other rooms used should be left clean and tidy. Please wash and put away all dirty dishes leaving the space clean for the next group of students.
7. You are kindly asked not to remove any items from the house such as kitchen utensils, furniture, books, etc.
8. For events requiring the use of the BBQ grill, please contact international@acadiau.ca. There may be a fee to help cover the cost of propane.
