Academic Advising

Academic Advisors can help you choose programs and courses that suit your educational needs and career objectives. Every program has an Academic Advisor who works with you to ensure that you are taking the correct courses to graduate.

Our Academic Advisors are the best people to answer questions about program requirements, and we recommend that you meet with your advisor before registering for courses

You can contact your Academic Advisor by emailing the Administrative Assistant or Department Head for your program. Before meeting with your Academic Advisor:

  • Make a list of specific questions you hope to ask your advisor
  • Do your research: look into the details outlined in Acadia’s Academic Calendar that relate to your situation
  • Be aware of important dates outlined in the academic calendar such as course add/drop dates
