For service at the campus Health Centre:
Full-time Acadia University students are automatically enrolled in Health and Dental plans unless they opt out of the coverage.
If you do not have a provincial health card and you have opted out of the student health plan, you will need to pay the clinic $50 directly in cash. You will receive a receipt so that you can seek reimbursement from your private insurance provider.
Pharmacy cards for eligible Canadian and International students can also be printed at https://studentvip.ca You will present this card at a pharmacy when you pick up your prescription. Your student insurance plan will help to significantly reduce the cost of most prescriptions.
