The Director oversees the operational requirements and department's administration. In addition, the Director coordinates Acadia's emergency preparedness and is responsible for the provision of resources and awareness programs.
The Manager and OHS Coordinator provides supervision, development, and leadership, with responsibility for 24/7 patrol operations, Access Control services, student security services, parking services, traffic control, and the shuttle service. The coordinator also manages and coordinates all Occupational Health and Safety interests for the university.
The Administrative Coordinator coordinates all administrative functions of the department of Safety and Security. The coordinator also provides operational support to Access Control and Safety and Security.

Monitors the production, issuance, and return of keys to all the University buildings and rooms as well as maintenance for all locks on campus. Provides access for contractors and staff, produces ID cards.
