Welcome

Welcome to our beautiful campus in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. It's a special place to live and grow.

Having served as the Town of Wolfville's Chief Administrative Officer for nine years prior to joining Acadia, I'm deeply familiar with Acadia's place in the larger community and the outsized impact our institution has on people's lives.

Effectively administering an educational institution like Acadia is a unique challenge. We are home to over 3,500 full-time students, a closely integrated part of our hometown, and one of the largest employers in the Annapolis Valley region. We have a diverse array of stakeholders, including all three levels of government, and we must respect the trust and investment that we have been given by government, our partners, and the public.

My portfolio includes oversight of many services crucial to the experiences of our students, employees, and guests. Key priorities include:

  • Supporting our Financial Services team to improve processes and reporting
  • Working with government to meet key performance objectives and transparency requirements
  • Developing the University's strong relationship with the Town of Wolfville and our place as a destination for high-quality events and sports
