World University Service of Canada

Acadia is proud to be a partner of World University Service of Canada (WUSC), a Canadian non-profit organization that provides youth-centred opportunities for education, employment, and empowerment in over 15 countries.

Each year (typically in the fall), we welcome a student from their Student Refugee Program (SRP). The program provides students with a safe and supportive environment to continue their education in schools across Canada, including Acadia. This student-driven program is made possible through the contributions our students each semester and the fundraising, communications, and social support provided by students in our Local Committee.
