The Wong International Centre
The Wong International Centre (WIC) offers international students a “home away from home”. It was launched in 1997 with the generous support of Gene D. Wong ('49), Acadia’s first graduate of Chinese descent, to provide support and information for Acadia’s many international students. Whether you need advice on your income taxes or just need some help adapting to a new country, our staff are here to provide you with support.
The WIC is located at 27 Acadia Street and is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The Centre offers Wifi, a study room, and a kitchen where you can cook your favourite foods from home. You can also book the Centre to host an event.
