Acadia University has received the Canada's Healthy Workplace Month Best Practice Award for a Human Resources initiative designed to create a safe and healthy workplace. 

Selection criteria were based on the quality of the submission, as well as creativity, uniqueness and staff involvement.  Acadia was selected as one of the five Best Practice submissions from the category of small organizations. It recognized the Wellness Wednesday activities held on campus.
