Acadia Team Vies for TD Go Green Video Award

A team of Acadia University students are competing in the TD Go Green Challenge. The video competition asked university and college students from across Canada to detail how they would tackle their campus’ biggest sustainability issues.

The Acadia team of Janine Radul, Mark Geddes, Sarah Geiwitz, and Megan Beliveau believe people power will help reduce energy consumption. They are vying for the top prize of internships with TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, a $20,000 team prize, and a $100,000 grant to Acadia for sustainability initiatives on campus.

They are also in the running for the $2,500 People’s Choice Award!

Visit http://www.tdgogreenchallenge.com/video/id/31/playid/31 between February 28 and March 11 to view and vote for Acadia's entry . The video with the most votes will win the People’s Choice Award — bragging rights and a cool $2,500.
