Acadia’s Jayda Veinot was named to FISU Games Team Canada
Acadia Basketball team member Jayda Veinot will represent Acadia and Canada at the 2019 Universiade Games in Napoli Italy from July 3-14.
This past season, Veinot was named the AUS Rookie of the Year and was also named an AUS second team all-star, earning a place on the AUS all-rookie team.
Veinot says she’s always dreamed of playing for Canada and is “thrilled to represent both Acadia and Canada this summer.”
