Air quality warning

Be sure to take precautions during periods of heavy smoke from the wildfires.

In smoky conditions, everyone’s health is at risk regardless of age or health status, particularly people with existing heart or lung conditions, seniors, young children, or if you are pregnant.

  • Limit time outdoors.
  • Avoid strenuous activities outdoors.
  • Keep windows and doors closed as much as possible.
  • Seek medical attention if you are experiencing difficulty breathing or having chest pains.

And remember, there are many health supports available to students and faculty and staff, including crisis and mental health supports.
