Campus Invite - Join a student-led countermarch against hate and bigotry

Dear students, faculty, and staff,

We invite all students, faculty, and staff to join us today, September 20, for a student-led countermarch promoting inclusivity, unity, and social justice on our campus. Organized by Acadia Pride and supported by the Acadia Students' Union, this march reflects our commitment to inclusion and equity.

This event is in response to groups nationwide, including here in Nova Scotia, advocating for harmful legislation targeting Two-Spirit, trans, non-binary and gender diverse youth and students in schools. Participating in this event can show your support for a more inclusive and accepting community.

If you can, please join the student-led march today!

Details

Meet at the Michener Lounge in the Students’ Union Students Centre (SUB) at 11:45 a.m. We will gather there before embarking on our march against hate and bigotry.
