Are you planning to hire a summer employee to support your research or other university activities? Applications for Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) funding for summer 2027 are now open.

As in previous years, Acadia’s applications will be collected and submitted centrally through the Career and Experiential Learning Office. Faculty interested in requesting funding should complete the form below by noon on Thursday, November 26, 2026:

Please submit a separate response for each distinct position. The form collects employment details, job duties, and supervision and mentoring plans. You will also need to confirm that funding is available to cover wages and mandatory employer costs not reimbursed through CSJ.

Please review the 2027 CSJ applicant guide, particularly the national and local priorities, when preparing your request.

The November 26 internal deadline allows time to review requests and submit Acadia’s applications before the federal deadline of December 3.
