How to Get Started with LinkedIn Learning?
- Visit the Halifax Public Libraries website and go to the E-Library section and select LinkedIn Learning from the available online resources.
- Sign in using your Halifax Public Libraries library card number and PIN. Please note: The Halifax Public Libraries library ID is halifaxca.
- Search for a course topic or browse by category to begin learning.
- You can also use your phone/tablet by downloading the LinkedIn Learning app. Select the Library card sign-in Option.

- Nova Scotia residents can get a free library card.
- Apply online for a digital card to get access to the library system.
- Online applicants receive a temporary digital barcode by email, which can be used to create an account and access most online resources.
- A digital card can be upgraded to a standard physical membership at a library branch. You will need one piece of Identification.
- Use your personal email address (rather than your work email) for library access.
