New Microsoft Security Enhancement for Outlook Email

Microsoft has introduced a new email security feature called Safe Links in Outlook to protect against phishing and malicious websites.

Safe Links scans URLs in real-time, redirecting users to the intended site only after verifying its safety. As a result, email links now appear longer, starting with "https://safelinks.protection.outlook.com/" followed by additional characters, but they still direct you to the original website. This feature operates automatically, enhancing your email security without requiring any action from you, and Microsoft plans to simplify link appearances over time. For more details, visit Microsoft’s support page, and remember to remain cautious by verifying senders and avoiding suspicious links.
