Members of the Acadia Tidal Energy Institute were in Ottawa on Monday, Feb. 2, 2015 to share key advances in ocean research with MPs and senior government decision-makers.

The event was the fifth in a series of successful gatherings with researchers and parliamentarians, where six senior researchers from across Canada were invited by NSERC and Senator Kelvin K. Ogilvie to informally share their work with decision-makers in a “scientific poster” style format.

Dr. Graham Daborn presented the poster on behalf of Dr. Anna Redden and Dr. Richard Karsten, highlighting developments at FORCE (Minas Passage test facility), the Digby Passages, and scientific research at those sites.
