Acadia Alumni Book Club Meeting - Two Crows Sorrow

November 14, 2022 (7:00 pm)

To conclude the third installment of the Acadia Alumni Book Club, featuring Two Crows Sorrow, a virtual meeting will be held on Monday, Nov. 14 and will serve as an opportunity to share personal reading experiences.

Part-way through the meeting, Two Crows Sorrow author Laura Churchill Duke (’98) will join us to discuss the writing process, the story itself and any other burning questions participants may have.

Please note: Book Club members do not have to be Acadia affiliates, and the Club is open to everyone. You can register anytime. If you would like to join, please e-mail: charlotte.hayes@acadiau.ca.

Here's what people are saying about the Acadia Alumni Book Club!

“Loved having an author that was an Acadia grad! I like books that open my eyes and make me evaluate and re-evaluate life and social structures.”

“It provides opportunity for anyone to participate regardless of their geographical location.”

“It was my first book club so I was a bit uncertain about how things would proceed. I would participate again.”

“(A virtual book club) allows conversation without the cost and scheduling to travel. Although I only live in Windsor, it allows for a wider involvement.”
