Choir and Caroling on Campus
Dear Acadia alumni,
Greetings from beautiful downtown Wolfville! I hope this note finds you well.
I can’t believe how the time is flying. It seems like just yesterday we were welcoming the Class of 2020 to campus on move-in day, September 3! Now, as we prepare for the holidays and all the richness of the Christmas season, I am thrilled to offer you a unique opportunity to connect with Acadia and other alumni.
Acadia’s Chaplain, the Rev. Timothy McFarland (’92), has invited us to the Manning Memorial Chapel on Sunday, December 4 at 7:00 p.m. for a short service. We’ll reminisce and reflect on Maritime Christmas traditions while joining the Chapel Choir, under the direction of University Organist John Scott (’06), to sing a few of your favourite Christmas carols. The Alumni Association will supply the cookies and hot chocolate; all you need to bring is your good cheer!
I sincerely hope you can attend this wonderful opportunity to take a break from the hustle and bustle and join me for some holiday fun!
Ian
