The Acadia basketball Axewomen have earned a spot in this year’s U SPORTS women’s basketball Final 8 tournament at Sullivan Fieldhouse, Cape Breton University in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

The tournament starts Thursday, March 9 and continues through to Sunday, March 12, with seventh-seeded Acadia playing its first game at 2 p.m. on Thursday against number two Alberta Pandas.

Tournament ticket packages are sold out. However, you’re invited to join us ahead of the game for a gathering at Flavour 19, 1225 Grand Lake Road in Sydney, directly across from CBU.

The venue opens at 11:30 a.m. and Acadia fans will have a private room right off the dining area from 12-2 p.m. Come on out and help cheer our Axewomen to victory!
