Acadia University won two national awards from the prestigious 2019 Prix D’Excellence Awards program of the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education (CCAE).

Thanks to the efforts of a terrific group of volunteers in Ottawa, Acadia alumni spanning seven decades of graduation years, along with friends and family, had a great time at the all new ‘Umbrella Bar’ at Dows Lake Pavilion in Ottawa on Friday, May 31, 2019 during our annual Lobster Picnic in the City.

How’s this for a Stand Up and Cheer moment? #AcadiaU’s Ann Dodge (’91) received this year’s Trailblazer Award during the Women Active Nova Scotia Trendsetter Awards ceremony in late April.

Earlier this year, the Acadia Alumni Association provided financial aid to help the Acadia Model United Nations Association attend for the first time the Canadian International Model United Nations (CANIMUN) conference in Ottawa, Ontario.
