There was plenty of excitement and no shortage of things to do as Acadia alumni and friends returned to their alma mater October 13-16 to celebrate Homecoming 2016.

Acadia University is engaged in the search for its next President and Vice-Chancellor, and the Presidential Search Committee is intent on conducting a thorough and comprehensive search.

Twenty-five Acadia alumni turned out for a reception on Thursday, Sept. 22 at Rudder's Seafood Restaurant and Brew Pub in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia.

The Acadia hockey Axemen faced off against the St. Mary’s Huskies in AUS pre-season action in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia on Wednesday, Sept. 21, and alumni were on hand to lend their support and celebrate a 6-4 Acadia win.

Five former ice Axemen will be inducted into the Acadia Hockey Honour Roll during a luncheon on Friday, October 14, 2016.

Acadia faculty and staff gathered in the Garden Room at the K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre on Thursday, September 1, 2016 for the annual Start-of-Term Barbecue.
