42nd Acadia Alumni Golf Tournament a hole in one for Acadia alums

By Fred Sgambati (’83)

A full complement was on hand and the mood was upbeat and celebratory July 26, 2024 at the 42nd Acadia Alumni Golf Tournament at KenWo Golf Club in New Minas, Nova Scotia, located in Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People.

Thirty-one teams and more than 130 golfers took to the course, enjoying the kind of camaraderie for which Acadia is known and providing financial support to incoming students by contributing to the Alumni Bursary – Valley Branch. For more, please see our photo gallery.

The day was sultry, but players weathered the heat beautifully, navigating fairways with aplomb and finding greens early and often to post some terrific scores.
