What a warm and wonderful gathering at the Wild Thyme Restaurant and Bar in Nassau, The Bahamas on November 27, 2024!

Executive Director, Alumni Relations Oonagh Proudfoot (’93, ’06) and International Enrolment Advisor Clara Gates-Flaherty (’22) had the pleasure of hosting a spirited and welcoming group of keen prospective students and passionate alumni for a delicious meal, excellent catch-up, and energetic planning focused on the next Caribbean Takeover at Homecoming 2025. Save the dates in your calendar now: October 16-19. Anischka Collie (‘01) says, “See you there!”

Clara offered updates and information to young attendees considering Acadia as well as alumni from several decades about what’s happening at the University right now. It was Philip (’85) and Velda (’91) Duncombe’s first alumni event in 20 years! Philip was full of great stories about his time at Acadia, reminiscing especially about his friendship with Dr. Susan Crouse (’85), our 2023 Distinguished Alumni Award recipient.
