Downtown Montreal was the place to be on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 when Acadia alumni gathered at Caucus to meet our new President Dr. Jeff Hennessy (’99) and learn about his vision for the University as it approaches its 200th anniversary in 2038. The room was filled with familiar faces as alumni, including Life Officers, former ASU executives and several former athletes, were out in full force to applaud the presentation by Dr. Hennessy of The Athenaeum and Acadia Alumni Student of the Year Award for 2021 to recipient Guy Harrison-Murray (’21). Guests had many opportunities to mix and mingle with Dr. Hennessy, Vice-President, Advancement Nancy Handrigan (’92), Executive Director, Alumni Affairs Oonagh Proudfoot (’93, ’06) and Executive Director, Donor Relations Vicki MacCrimmon during a lovely and casually entertaining evening.
