Acadia alumni were front and centre during Move-In Day 2013, helping new students locate their rooms and settle in at Acadia on August 31. Events that day included parent orientation, campus tours, a matriculation ceremony, president’s reception, students’ dinner and in-residence programming. Alumni move-in volunteers (left to right) Nicole Poirier (’13), Kings South MLA Ramona Jennex (’78), Murray Phillips (’65), Jake Rideout (’11) and Sara Munden (’11) took time out to enjoy some lunch in Wheelock Hall after a busy morning of Move-In activities. An estimated 3,500 students returned to the Acadia campus during Welcome Week.
