Acadia alumni and friends were treated to a full slate of activities October 18-20 during Homecoming 2013. The 101st running of the Bulmer Relay kicked things off on Friday, October 18, followed by a Class of '81, '82 and '83 reunion reception, Axemen hockey vs. St. Thomas and the 25th anniversary of the opening of Acadia Arena. On Saturday, the AAAU Backyard BBQ was a perfect way to lead into the football game against St. F.X. (which Acadia won 27-11!), then women's rugby, the Acadia Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony, and SydStock in the Axe Lounge to name only a few events. The Associated Alumni of Acadia University presented Sunday Music in the Garden Room featuring the Cecilia String Quartet, Axemen hockey vs. UPEI and the retirement of the late Connie MacNeil's jersey (#6), and an organ recital in the Manning Memorial Chapel performed by Andrew Ager, St. James Cathedral, Toronto.
