Acadia’s annual Move-In Day is approaching and alumni are invited to help new students carry suitcases, hoist boxes and settle in.

Slated for Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, Move-In Day is the perfect opportunity to meet-and-greet first-year students and give them a hand when they arrive on-campus.

Anyone interested in participating is asked to gather at the Welcome Centre in the Students’ Union Building (SUB) at 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 1. For further information and to get involved as active and engaged alumni, contact Emily Nkosi, Welcome Week Coordinator, via e-mail at: enkosi@acadiau.ca.

No training is required: just a warm smile and willingness to help. See you Sept. 1!

What: Alumni Move-In Help

When: Saturday, September 1^st, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Meet in the SUB at the Welcome Centre, where a Welcome Week Leader will check you in. Organizers will try to be as flexible as possible to have alumni help in the residence of their choice.
