The evening of February 15, 2019 was an interesting one for Acadia alumni.  At Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan, a group of Acadia business students enrolled in a Business in Japan course met with a group of Doshisha University students who had recently spent a year at Acadia as exchange students as well as studying English at the Acadia Language Centre.  Doshisha University’s Faculty of Global Communications sponsored the event under the leadership of Professor Mike Takeda.  Acadia’s Business School Director Paul Callaghan and course instructor Conor Vibert were very pleased with the reception and impressed by the affection for Acadia from the Japanese alumni. This event and course are part of a bigger push to attract more students from Japan to Acadia University.
