Here’s a good news story about Acadia alumna and former basketball Axewoman Jasmine Parent (’12), who is leading change and inspiring people here at home and around the world.

“After graduating from Acadia in 2012, Jasmine completed her Bachelor of Social Work at Dalhousie in 2014. Following graduation, Jasmine worked as a Social Worker for the Nova Scotia Health Authority for five years. Recently, after losing 120 pounds on a personal journey to health and wellness, appearing on a Nashville talk show and numerous online media outlets, including Health Magazine and The Today Show, Jasmine made the decision to leave her role as a social worker and become an entrepreneur via her social media accounts. She now supports others who are pursuing their own unique health and wellness goals.”
