It was an evening of fun and firsts in beautiful, magnetic Moncton on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. Acadia alumni came together and extended a warm welcome to Vice-President, Advancement Nancy Handrigan (’92) and Executive Director, Alumni Affairs Oonagh Proudfoot (’93, ’06) at the charming St. James’ Gate. Several attendees noted that it was their first alumni event ever and for Michelle Goodwin (’89), it was her first on the East Coast, having just moved from Vancouver, where she had attended alumni events in the past. Talk about a Stand Up and Cheer moment! It was great to see everyone, and we can’t wait to do it all again soon. Michelle is pictured with Nancy (left), Oonagh and Michelle’s brother, Greg.
