The AUS Conference champion Acadia Axewomen basketball team is preparing this week for the CIS Final 8 Championship. They will open the tournament against the fourth-seeded Windsor Lancers.
Seeded fifth overall, Acadia will start its road to a National title on Saturday, March 17, 5 p.m. (Mountain Time) at the Jack Simpson Gym at the University of Calgary. The eight-team competition concludes Monday, March 19 with the gold medal final at 7 p.m. local (10 p.m. AST).

Should the Axewomen win the opener, they will tip off Sunday evening at 7 p.m. in semi-final #2. Alumni are invited to get together again at Moose McGuire’s two hours before this and subsequent games involving Acadia.
