Carmen Braden recording her second album at Acadia University

Musician and composer Carmen Braden (’09), from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, is currently at #AcadiaU recording her second solo album, tentatively called Songs of the Invisible Summer Stars. Mark Adam, percussion professor at Acadia, is producing the album and performing on it. Braden also brought in several professional musicians from Halifax and New Brunswick and her former composition teacher, Acadia’s Dr. Derek Charke, to play on the album as well. Braden has been using the University Hall stage as a rehearsal space and recording studio during her visit. For more on her work, please visit: https://www.carmenbraden.com/. Fans can expect the new album this fall. Stand Up and Cheer!
