The weather was fantastic and so was the vibe as an energetic group of Acadia alumni came out in full force on August 23, 2023 for a sunset cruise of the Halifax Harbour on the tall ship Silva. Guests honoured retired and beloved Acadia professor Dr. Maurice Tugwell and showed their red and blue pride for all things Acadia. President Emeritus and honorary alumnus Ray Ivany shared updates from the University, and Tugwell regaled the crowd with anecdotes from his 35 years of teaching at Acadia. It was a wonderful evening made even more special by the warmth and camaraderie of an incredible collection of Acadia alumni and friends.
