Acadia faculty and staff gathered in the Garden Room at the K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2015 for this year’s annual Start-of-Term Barbecue. Sponsored by the Associated Alumni of Acadia University, the event recognizes and celebrates the many contributions of faculty and staff to Acadia. Julie Snair, Coordinator of International Relations (right), and international education intern Adwoa Nhyira Gyasi-Denteh are pictured enjoying the occasion. President Ray Ivany and members of the University Administration donned aprons and chef hats, and served hamburgers, hot dogs, lemonade and fresh-cooked corn to the many guests in attendance.
