The sun was setting beautifully over the harbour and smiles were plentiful at an Acadia alumni gathering in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia on Thursday, March 30, 2023. Vice-President, Advancement Nancy Handrigan (’92) and Executive Director, Alumni Affairs Oonagh Proudfoot (’93, ’06) were delighted to co-host an event at Rudder’s Seafood Restaurant and Brew Pub with Mayor Pam Mood (’82) and her wonderful sense of humour. They were joined by a fun-loving group of 25 to share some time and stories as well as hear a bit about Acadia and its priorities. Recent graduate Megan Cottreau, Class of 2020, was delighted to learn that the University is planning a convocation ceremony for her class in 2025.
