Alexis (Lex) Gallagher is an Acadia grad from the class of 2000. Currently a teacher in Toronto, she recently challenged her students at St. Clement’s School to raise more than $40,000 for the CIBC Run for the Cure, benefitting the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.  If they could reach their goal, Lex promised to donate her long hair to Wigs for Kids and have her head shaved. The students achieved their goal and she upheld her end of the deal. The photo says it all, and she has a video link to the head-shaving.
