A vibrant group of Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) alumni gathered at the Daily Grind Café and Bar in Halifax on January 31, 2025.

Forty-five grads of the last decade made new connections and nourished friendships, as they reminisced and reconnected throughout the evening.

A lively bingo game brought everyone together and the winner, Karen Bolivar ('20), left with two tickets to the 2025 Acadia Alumni Awards Dinner, occurring May 1 at Pier 21 in Halifax.

Conversations flowed as alumni shared career updates, dreams, and stories about life after Acadia. Excitement was high, with many looking forward to more opportunities to reunite.

Olivia Shive ('21), Chair of the Young Alumni Committee, Payton Wood (’18) and Emily Wooder MacLeod ('17) were the GOLD representatives from the Alumni Association Board, with a quick appearance from President Christine Luckasavitch (’11) and board member Eric Levy (’05, ’07).

It truly was a GOLDen evening, and Acadia spirit was strong in Halifax!
