Seventeen Acadia alumni joined Executive Director, Alumni Affairs Oonagh Proudfoot (’93, ’06) on June 8, 2022 at the Vu Resto and Bar in St. John’s, NL for a delightful evening of fun and friendship. Fantastic conversation swirled around the room from grad class representatives ranging from 1962 to 2018 and covered a lot of ground, including a lengthy discussion about gender identity, with a wide age range contributing. Bob Lucas (’68, ’69) showed up with a song sheet featuring Acadia’s alma mater, which he brings to every Acadia event he attends, and Roshni Kollipara (’18) won an Acadia sweatshirt. Talk about luck – she had just been telling a friend she needed a new one! It was a grand time and our first in-person event in Newfoundland in quite a while.
