On April 27, 2013, about 350 Acadia alumni and friends gathered at the World Trade and Convention Centre in Halifax for the 11^th Annual Acadia Alumni Gala Dinner and Silent Auction. Hosted by the voice of the Acadia Axemen Len Hawley, the evening honoured 2013 Distinguished Alumni Clint Davis (’92) and Bob Stead (’63), pictured here with President of the Associated Alumni of Acadia University, Hugh Bray (right, ’75). Other highlights included a VIP reception, silent auction and raffle. Since its inception, the Gala Dinner and Silent Auction has raised more than $250,000 to support athletics and student financial aid at Acadia.
