Acadia alumni enjoyed a lively evening and a great view of Boston from the 25th floor of the offices of Foley and Lardner, LLP at an Atlantic University Alumni Event on September 18, 2024, hosted by the Honourable Bernadette Jordan, Consul General of Canada to New England.

Approximately 50 people attended, and it was a great opportunity to mix and mingle with alumni from other Atlantic Universities (Dalhousie, King’s, MtA, St FX, Saint Mary’s, UNB, and UPEI), staff from the Consul General’s Office and members of the New England-Canada Business Council, and the Canadian Entrepreneurs in New England. The Consul General greeted attendees and, after her remarks, introduced Acadia’s new Chancellor Nancy McCain (’82, ’21 HON) and Vice-President, External Relations Nancy Handrigan (’92), each of whom brought greetings on behalf of the universities present.

Acadia alumni representing grad classes from 1968 through to 2019 attended and had a great time sharing Acadia memories and discussing the bright future of their alma mater.
