The CIS #5 and AUS finalist Acadia Axemen will open the 2015 University Cup at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, N.S. on Friday, March 13 at 1 p.m. against the CIS #4 OUA finalist UQTR Patriotes (L'Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières).

Join representatives of Acadia University at Acadia Hockey House, Durty Nelly’s, corner of Argyle and Sackville Streets in Halifax, for a pre-game gathering starting at 10:30 a.m. Friday and help cheer the Axemen on to victory.

Axeman Breakfast Special: two eggs, hash browns, toast, bacon, beans, and a 20-oz. beverage for $12.

Keep in mind that Durty Nelly’s is your go-to location for all things CIS this weekend, and the official meeting place for Acadia fans before and after games during the tournament.

As an added bonus, the hockey team and Athletics Director Kevin Dickie will be at Durty Nelly’s on Thursday evening, March 12, from 6:30 to 7:30. Alumni are welcome to drop by and wish them luck.
