Homecoming 2012 was a huge success as Acadia and the Associated Alumni of Acadia University (AAAU) hosted alumni and friends October 12-14 on the Wolfville campus. The 100th anniversary running of the Bulmer Relay Race on Friday, October 12 attracted more than 110 participants and kicked things off, with the Sons of Maxwell, Don and Dave Carroll, playing to a large crowd midday Saturday at the Annual AAAU Backyard BBQ. The Acadia Axemen football team clinched a berth in the Subway Loney Bowl Championship and improved their league-leading record to 5-1 with a 47-26 win over St. F. X. at Raymond Field, and the S.M.I.L.E. program marked its 30th anniversary with celebrations throughout the day and into the evening Saturday.
